At Cinder, we’re doing everything we can to keep as many people employed as possible – both at our restaurant and within the industry’s supply chain.

That’s why we’re going to start taking donations at Cinder instead of selling gift cards.

1.   We will use the funds to make food NOW to feed laid off hospitality workers in the community. We are partnering with Hook Hall in Park View to get prepared meals to affected people. At the end of each week we will total up donations received and get food prepped for the following week to drop off at Hook.

2.   Making food NOW means we are ordering food & getting deliveries NOW. This isn’t the case with gift cards, which customers cash in at a later date. Ordering food now keeps suppliers employed. Our main meats supplier had 11 drivers last week… and now they are down to 3.
